A case of morbid obesity

João Henrique is a young Brazilian who, unfortunately, suffers from morbid obesity, needs help to start his treatment, which is long and expensive.
Joao Henrique and Ana Gloria, his mother, go through a huge problem, unable to solve it, alone.
On May 4, 2021, Joao Henrique lost his father, motivated by the sequels of covid 19, which aggravated his health problem, coming from a pre-existing chronic clinical depression for many years, in addition to morbid obsity. In view of this fact, his mother, now a widow, and without the slightest contribution of resources to start the previous procedures for her son and in the end, a bariatric surgery, requests donations to help with his treatment.
Gyplan, sensitive to the problem, presented by family members and because they do not have any health insurance is making available to Joao Henrique this means of collecting donations, whose resources will be managed by Ana Gloria, his mother, in view of his difficult mobility.
The average cost of stomach reduction surgery is between $20,000 and $25,000, however, it depends on other factors such as the type of surgery.
We are tentatively setting an overall target of US$15,000.00 to cover a multidisciplinary team, starting with the weight reduction phase to a level that allows for bariatric surgery.
The treatment will start after the fulfillment of the goal, considering that, if the goal is not reached, the whole treatment will be unfeasible.
